Established in December 2014 with the approval of the Hubei Science and Technology Department, the relying unit is Hubei University, and the director of the laboratory is Professor Wang Zhengxiang. This key laboratory mainly carries out research work in three directions: resource remote sensing and land use, natural protection and vegetation restoration, environmental monitoring and ecological restoration.
